Peter Pan was partially inspired by the fact Barrie’s brother died at a young age.

When children die Peter goes part of the way with them, so they don’t get scared.

Peter ran away from home when he was a baby, his mother get depressed and when he was determined to come back he gets to his house just to find the window barred and another baby in his place.

Peter’s mother cries in his sleep because Peter is gone.

If a child died in Kensington Gardens Peter would dig a grave for him/her and make a little tombstone too.

Sometimes Wendy or the lost boys find corpses around Neverland, result of Peter’s adventures.

Hook tries to poison the lost boys and later he tries to poison Peter.

Every time Peter dreams he has the most painful dreams a person can have, he even cries in his sleep.

Peter gets rid of the lost boys if they grow up.

Mr. Darling blames himself for the children running away, so he lives inside the dog’s house for a long time.

Tinker Bell dies and Peter totally forgets about her.

He forgets about Hook too.

“I forget them after I kill them” -Peter

The lost boys, John and Michael, grow up, stop believing in Peter and become normal and boring people with normal and boring jobs.
