Hella thirsty for the OTP

youkaiyume:

This scene was so bittersweet.

I couldn’t decide on whether I liked it cropped or full body more…so here have both!

I might do more Sherlock fanart cuz I’m still suffering from the wave like the rest tumblr…so I’m sorry in advance…

I mainly wanted to do a different style from my usual fare! It was fun.

I guess this means I ship a bit of Sherlolly. But you know after the Empty Hearse, I am fine with shipping all the ships.

Spontaneous Sherlolly Sketch Time! Cuz Sherlock and Molly are hella cute as a crime solving duo.

Sherlock stood at the door outside the bathroom for a long while, his fingers curling around the doorknob.
There wasn’t a sound from the room inside, and he knew he needed to fix this. Five years ago, he would have scoffed at the whole thing, used this scenario as yet another reason why sentiment made people irrational and it was an unworthy pursuit.
But that was before he realized what it meant to sacrifice oneself for one’s friends, before he understood that love and sentiment was not a weakness at all, but rather a source of strength. No one had embodied that more than the woman on the other side of the door.
Carefully, he turned the knob, unsure if he was going to find resistance from her having thrown the lock against him. It gave way quickly and with no effort, and he quietly breathed a sigh of relief: there was hope for him yet.
His eyes took in the small room quickly, seeing that little to nothing was out of the ordinary…it also appeared to be empty.
Sherlock closed the door behind him with a soft click and took the two steps towards the tub, pulling back the shower curtain.
It was probably Molly’s oddest habit, something that he discovered when briefly living with her while he was “dead”: she liked to curl up in the tub when she was upset, even without water, claiming that it allowed her to think more clearly.
She looked up at him from her curled up position, evidence of the crying she’d done drying on her face, but there were no fresh tears now. She was giving him a sort of blank expression and Sherlock felt his heart tighten.
Carefully, he lifted her up just enough to be able to position himself beside her, folding himself around her and adjusting them both into a relatively comfortable position. With her head tucked up under his chin, he felt her breathing against the skin exposed by his open collar.
“Molly, please forgive me,” he said finally, his thumb rubbing small circles against the fabric of her jumper. “I never meant to imply that your work isn’t important. I truly hold it as essential, not just in relation to myself but to society in general. It was wrong of me to suggest anything different.”
She let out a deep sigh, but said nothing in reply. He pressed on.
“And I want you to know that I am a man of my word. I made you a promise, and I will do everything I can to live up to it.”
Molly let out another sigh but this time Sherlock felt her press her lips to his collarbone lightly. “I’m sorry too. I know that you’re trying, that we’re both still trying to figure this out. I also know by now what you really mean when you say certain things, so I really shouldn’t have reacted like that, no matter how much I wanted to just wring your neck, impossible man.”
“If it helps, you probably could have gotten away with it,” he replied.
Molly lightly smacked his chest. “And let you get out of the joy of the next nine months of dealing with my probably horrifying mood swings and having you wait on me hand and foot? Not a chance.”
“Mmm, sounds like I’ll have to come up with another master plan, then.”
“You can certainly try. Just make sure that it somehow includes getting someone here to do the washing up so we don’t argue about it.”

Sherlock chuckled. “I’m sure I can think of something.”

Here’s another attempt at Sherlolly animation. This one is completely 100% w/o any template (unlike the last one), and well…you can tell, can’t you? Hahaha.
Animation is a PAIN, and I’m really impatient. I think I need to take a step back and wait a little longer before trying again.
Or maybe not?
